I am happy to report that this is the first year that we did not have to run off to Fred Meyer for more lights. This beautiful tree only took 1350 lights. In the past we have had up to 1600. I am thinking that this is because I am either getting way better at selecting a tree with more spaces or maybe I am just getting a little bit lazier?
And yes, in case you were wondering, every branch is painstakingly wrapped.
Henry: Mom, do you think that my wife will be able to put lights on the tree like you?
Mom: Sure, and if she doesn't I will teach her just like Nana Karen taught me.
Henry: Oh, good.
