This one was slightly traumatic because it was painful, making it difficult for Henry to eat and causing a lot of tears. Man, those big ones like to hold on.
So here's the real story, the whole truth and nothing but the truth (never mind what Henry may or may not recount).
It all started with a little fib. I had to trick my trusting son by saying something like, I'm just gonna wiggle it. And then, as soon as he let me get a hold of it, I yanked it. Come on, a mom's gotta do what a mom's gotta do. I needed to end his pain. He cried a little, it bled a lot but he is so much happier now. So, we are now anxiously awaiting what will grow it its place-- will it be Ben's nice small front teeth or my giant bucky beepers?
And you know how it will end, I am sure it will be my bucky beepers because that would be the perfect pay back for my innocent trickery.

you are a good mom!! wiggly teeth were the only part of teaching that grossed me out. i could handle any bathroom mishaps, vomit, regular blood, etc but the second i saw a bloody, wiggly tooth i was a mess.
I may have to try your idea. Wyatt has two loose teeth and the rate he's going it will be years before they come out.
