While in the Sunshine State, we made it back to the Kennedy Space Center to see the Space Shuttle Atlantis. It was an amazing sight- one that we will never forget.
You could stand so close that it was almost touchable- almost but not quite (I am sure they strategically placed it that way). The most surprising feature of the shuttle was that the white portion was quilted high tech fabric, sort of like gortex.
