The dream started with a picture from a brochure. . . the first month we were in the house, we had a natural gas line installed, ripped out the wood paneling, cut a hole, and installed a fireplace.
A year and a half later the windows were installed and the mantel and bookcases were built.
Then came the marble tile.
And today it was finished! The paint went on and I am so excited to see our dream come true!
We have to give a special shout out to Karen, Ben's mom, for giving us the original idea by supplying the brochure.
